Kirk Post has been investigating and prosecuting catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases for over two decades in the areas of automobile and tractor-trailer collisions, premises liability, civil rights violations, sexual abuse cases, highway design defects, and medical malpractice.
Kirk graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1977. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist in 1978.
Prior to starting his own investigative business, he worked as a staff investigator for the law firm of Sams, Anderson, Alper & Post. He continued his investigation career after moving to Atlanta in 1989 and has handled thousands of investigations for plaintiffs’ attorneys.
Kirk graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1993 and was Valedictorian of his class. He joined the Keenan Law Firm in June of 1994 as an associate. In October of 1995, he founded his own plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation’ firm.
Kirk is actively involved in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA). He is a member of the Tractor/Trailer Litigation Section of GTLA. Kirk is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. Kirk has spoken and presented numerous papers to seminars presented by GTLA and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia (ICLE).
He has served for three terms as President of the John Marshall Law School Alumni Association. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of John Marshall Law School. Kirk has taught several elective courses at John Marshall Law School.
